Whoever said biostatistics was boring? (who am I kidding?) Anyways, I kept myself awake during yesterday's biostatistics lecture by engaging myself in statistics, however ironic that may sound. The lecturer said the word "kay" about 60 times in the first 5 mins, 75 times in the next 5 mins, 101 times in the next 5 mins and 141 times in the next 5 mins. Now if all this data were to be plotted on a graph paper, an exponential graph would be observed. No anomalous readings were present as the data was within plus minus 10% of each other. Hence there is no dire need to repeat the experiment. To attain accurate readings, I listened intently to the lecturer without absorbing a thing, and simply focused on tabulating the number of times she uttered "kay". This is what happens when boredom gets to you in a freezing cold lecture theatre. Serious.
